A 5.4 magnitude earthquake has occurred in Afghanistan.

Axar.az reports that the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre released this information.

The earthquake's epicenter was 32 km southeast of the village of Jorm, which is home to nearly 12,000 people, at a depth of 125 km.
