China intends to continue to promote a peaceful resolution of the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that Mao Ning, China's foreign affairs representative, said this while commenting on the words of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy about the China-Brazil initiative being an obstacle to peace.

According to him, China and Brazil have presented six joint agreements covering important priorities, including de-escalation of tensions and prevention of conflict escalation.

"The plan also calls on all parties to be committed to dialogue and negotiation, increase humanitarian aid, oppose the use of nuclear weapons, resist attacks on nuclear power plants, and maintain the stability of global industry and supply chains," Mao said.
