In my opinion, there were agreements regarding the corridor, and therefore Aliyev "threw the issue of the corridor through Armenia into the pocket of the Russians". Azerbaijan has moved the issue to a completely different level, and Armenia may still lose something there.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by Armenian political strategist Karen Kocharyan.

According to him, the change in the rhetoric of the Armenian authorities towards Russia is related to their fears, and that is why the authorities agreed to visit Kazan (an official announcement was made that Nikol Pashinyan will go to the BRICS conference - ed.):

"But their fears did not end there. Now they are coming out of the West with different promises. Unfortunately, the situation in Armenia depends on foreign players for a long time. "Armenia is so "sovereign" that it cannot do anything on its own."
