Secretary General of the UN Antonio Guterres and the UN Security Council must unequivocally condemn the attack on the Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, who was injured as a result of a pager explosion.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the letter sent by Iran's Permanent Mission to the UN.

"The Secretary-General of UN and the Security Council must unequivocally condemn Israel's acts of terrorism and the heinous crime committed against the head of Iran's diplomatic mission in Lebanon, as well as the violations of Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity and the attacks against Lebanese citizens," it was stated.
