Bayramov criticizes Coleman’s remarks on Azerbaijan

The statements made by Isabel Coleman, the Deputy Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, about Azerbaijan are disrespectful to its territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Axar.az reports that Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov made this remark during a meeting with Joshua Huck, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, from the U.S.

He emphasized that despite efforts to create positive dynamics in bilateral relations and identify cooperation prospects, some biased opinions from U.S. officials negatively affect bilateral relations:

"In this context, the statements made by Isabel Coleman on September 16 at the Armenian Embassy in the U.S. are disrespectful to Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty. They aim to distort facts regarding the anti-terror measures taken to end the illegal presence of Armenian armed forces in our sovereign territories."
