Russia claims strike on ship bound for Odesa region

Russian forces have struck a cargo vessel transporting supplies for the Ukrainian military to the port of Chornomorsk in Ukraine’s Odesa region, Russia’s Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that the ministry said the vessel was hit by Russian drones while sailing at sea during the day.

The ministry also claimed that Russian forces struck an Epicentr-K logistics centre in Rivne, which it said Ukrainian forces used to store and distribute military supplies.
