The possibility of mass production of such "weapons" raises terrorism to a new level. Measures must be taken against such crimes.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the Speaker of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, while commenting on the explosions in Lebanon.

“The fact that household electronic devices are being used as explosive devices requires proper investigation. The possibility of mass production of such 'weapons' raises terrorism to a new level. This is a global threat to all countries. International organizations must develop measures against such crimes, otherwise no one will feel safe. A planned high-tech attack could have serious consequences worldwide. What happened in Lebanon must be thoroughly investigated," he said.

It should be noted that on September 17, an explosion of pagers in Lebanon killed 12 people and injured 4,000 others.

On September 18, further explosions occurred in Lebanon.
