On September 18, the next consular consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan were held in Tashkent.

Axar.az was informed about this by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

It was reported that the head of the consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Emil Safarov, led the delegation of Azerbaijan, and the head of the consular-legal department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bobur Azizov, led the delegation of Uzbekistan.

Officials of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan from Azerbaijan, and officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Employment and Labor Affairs, and the Foreign Labor Migration Agency also participated in the meeting.

During the consular consultations, views were exchanged on the current situation and development prospects of cooperation in the consular field with Uzbekistan, an ally of Azerbaijan, as well as the possibility of signing new bilateral documents in the field.

At the same time, during the negotiations, discussions were held on the protection of the rights and freedoms of the citizens of the two countries, the development of relations in the fields of migration and justice.
