Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar on July 2.

Axar.az reports that he Cabinet of Ministers told that the importance of the participation of the President of Northern Cyprus, which has the status of an observer state in the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), in the 17th Summit of the ECO held in the city of Khankendi was emphasized during the meeting.

It was noted that mutual visits have been held between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus at various levels in recent times.

During the conversation, issues of cooperation in a number of areas were discussed.
