Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the opening of the new building of the Uzbek embassy in Baku on July 2.

Axar.az reports that the heads of state cut the symbolic ribbon marking the opening of the new building of the Uzbek embassy.

Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the infrastructure of the embassy building and looked at the conditions created for diplomats there. The new complex, which meets modern requirements, is aimed at the further development of a multilateral strategic partnership and alliance between the two brotherly countries.

After getting acquainted with the building, Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev wrote their heartfelt words in the book of Honorary Guests of the embassy.
