Military drills set for September in Kazakhstan

From September 26 to October 7, the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will conduct the "Steadfast Brotherhood-2024" command-staff exercise in Kazakhstan.

Axar.az reports that the Kazakhstan Ministry of Defense has announced this information.

"The CSTO plans to hold the 'Steadfast Brotherhood-2024' command-staff exercise at the Bereg training ground in Almaty region from September 26 to October 7, 2024," the statement said.

It was reported that military contingents from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan will begin arriving for the exercise starting September 18 to fulfill combat readiness tasks.
