Israel has long been preparing a complex operation to detonate pagers in Lebanon and has even established a company for the production of communication devices containing explosive materials.

Axar.az informs that this information was reported by The New York Times.

"The detonations of the pagers are attributed to the Israelis. The company 'BAC Consulting,' registered in Budapest, was part of the Israeli front. Israeli intelligence has established at least two more companies to conceal the identities of those involved in the operation," the report states.

It is noted that on September 17 in Lebanon, explosions from the pagers resulted in 12 deaths and 4,000 injuries. Further explosions occurred in Lebanon on September 18.
