The statements about Russian President Vladimir Putin considering strikes deep into the country as a “red line” for him are just a fake claim.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg.

He stated that the Kremlin leader has made many such threats:

“Putin has spoken about the 'red line' before, but after crossing the border (Operation Kursk – ed.), there was no reaction from Moscow. He didn't dare to act because NATO is the most powerful military alliance in the world. Moreover, Russia understands that no one can win a nuclear war, and participation in such a war is unacceptable. We have made this clear to Putin.”
