The Secretary General believes that COP29 will be very successful.

Axar.az informs that these words were said by UN Secretary General Stefan Dujarric in response to Azertaj's question about preparations for COP29 during the briefing.

According to him, numerous discussions will take place at the UN with the COP29 delegation in preparation for the event.

"This event takes place at a very critical time when we are fighting climate change. As the Secretary-General has said, this struggle is not going the right way and renewed commitment and action are needed. I am sure that a number of regional issues will be brought up during the discussions," said the UN spokesman.
