Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has firmly stated that they are completely opposed to Israel using Iraqi airspace for attacks and announced that Iraq has filed a complaint against Israel with the UN Security Council.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a written announcement from the press office of the Iraqi Cabinet.

It was noted that Sudani discussed the attack on Iran with Steven Fagin, the U.S. chargé d’affaires in Baghdad, and Major General Kevin Leahy, commander of the international coalition against the terrorist organization ISIS.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Sudani emphasized that the attack on Iran was a clear violation of international law and described it as an act of aggression that threatens not only regional but also global security.
