Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a phone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Lavrov told his counterpart that Russia condemns Israel’s military operation against Iran.

The minister also stated that Russia is ready to assist in resolving the situation surrounding Iran’s nuclear program.

It should be noted that on the morning of June 13, the Israeli Air Force launched strikes on Iran’s nuclear and military bases. In response, Iran fired missiles at Israel’s capital, Tel Aviv, late last night. The clashes are still ongoing.
