A phone conversation was held between Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi.

Axar.az reports that the two discussed the recent developments between Tehran and Tel Aviv and exchanged views on the current situation.

“In line with Armenia’s stated position, we emphasized the importance of managing risks and preventing escalation in the region. We continue to maintain close contact, including discussions involving the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA),” Mirzoyan wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) account regarding the call.

It should be noted that yesterday, Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement condemning Israel’s military attack on Iran, calling for an immediate end to hostilities and adherence to international legal norms.
