Polish President Andrzej Duda has had to remain in Singapore due to tensions in the Middle East.

Axar.az reports that Duda’s return flight from his official visit to Singapore was delayed due to the need to change the flight route.

Initially, the Polish President’s plane was scheduled to depart on Friday evening. However, the presidential office announced that, due to the situation in the Middle East and the necessity to alter the route, the flight was postponed for a longer period.

The report notes that an alternative route has now been determined, and the plane carrying Duda is expected to depart within the coming hours.

President Duda and his wife Agata have been in Southeast Asia since Monday. The presidential couple visited Malaysia and Singapore.
