It is important to create a buffer zone on the border to protect against the shell attack of the Ukrainian army. Its width depends on what kind of weapons will be supplied to Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy head of the Russian Security Council, said this.

"In the future, we need to create a sanitary zone so that no projectiles are fired. No one knows what size it will be. But it should be enough. If they want to acquire long-range weapons, cruise, and ballistic missiles, this sanitary zone should extend to Poland," he said.
