International relations have entered a period of fundamental changes. A new order reflecting the planet's diversity is forming in the world, and it is impossible to halt these processes.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his speech at the forum titled "Connections Between Times and Civilizations – The Basis of Peace and Development" in Ashgabat.

"All of this is understandable and close to intelligent people today, especially in the current difficult conditions where the world is facing unprecedented dangers created by the fault lines of civilization, interethnic and interfaith conflicts, and is entering a new era of international relations," Putin noted.

According to Putin, new centers of strong economic growth, financial, and political influence have emerged primarily in the global East and South:

"These new centers strive to preserve and strengthen sovereignty and socio-cultural uniqueness, seeking harmonious development paths based on their traditions and national interests."
