France to give 100m  euros to Lebanon

France has announced it will provide 100 million euros in aid to Lebanon, as stated by President Emmanuel Macron during an international conference focused on the country, which is currently affected by the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

Axar.az reports that Macron mentioned that France's contribution is part of a larger goal of 500 million euros aimed at assisting displaced individuals, emphasizing the urgent need for the war to end.

Additionally, Germany committed to providing 96 million euros in additional funds to Lebanon at the same conference.

According to the German foreign ministry, these funds will be allocated to United Nations agencies and NGOs, including the German Red Cross and the Lebanese Humanitarian Fund, to support those internally displaced and help stabilize Lebanon socially, economically, and institutionally.
