UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called on Israel and Iran to make every effort to prevent a regional war.

Axar.az reports that this information was reported by Stefan Dujarric, the official spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General.

"The Secretary-General firmly reiterates his call for all parties to cease all military operations, including in Gaza and Lebanon, and to make every effort to prevent a large-scale regional war and return to diplomacy," Dujarric stated.
