World leaders react to Israeli airstrikes on Iran

As we reported, Israel launched airstrikes on Iran on the night of October 26.

Axar.az reports that several countries have already expressed their views on this attack:

Saudi Arabia condemned the attack, characterizing it as a "violation of sovereignty and international law," and called on all parties to exercise maximum restraint and avoid escalating the conflict in the region.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that Iran should not respond to Israel's attacks: "Israel has the right to defend itself against Iranian aggression. However, we must not allow regional tensions to escalate further, and we call on all parties to exercise restraint. Iran should not respond to this attack."

The United Arab Emirates condemned the attack and emphasized the importance of demonstrating "maximum restraint" to prevent tensions following Israel's airstrikes on Iranian military facilities.

Pakistan's Foreign Ministry stated: "Pakistan strongly condemns Israel's strikes against the Islamic Republic of Iran. These strikes disrupt the path to regional peace and stability and create a dangerous escalation in an already unstable region. Israel bears full responsibility for the current escalation and expansion of the conflict. We call on the UN Security Council to play its role in maintaining international peace and security and to take urgent steps to end Israel's criminal behavior in this regard."

Iraq's Foreign Ministry stated that Israel continues its aggressive policies and expands the conflict in the region: "Iraq reiterates its firm position that a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon requires comprehensive regional and international efforts to support stability in the region."

It should be noted that the United States has characterized these attacks as "Israel's right to self-defense" and has declared its support for Tel Aviv.
