The visit of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Uzbekistan, scheduled for October 28-29, has been postponed.

Axar.az informs that Russian media reported this information.

In a statement published on the department's website following a phone conversation between the Russian foreign minister and his Uzbek counterpart, it was noted:

"An agreement has been reached to postpone Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov's visit to Tashkent on October 28-29 due to changes in work schedules."

It was mentioned that during the conversation, the parties confirmed their intention to continue active cooperation for the implementation of decisions made by the leaders of Russia and Uzbekistan to further strengthen their comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance.
