Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said these words while talking about the reasons for dismissing Yoav Gallant from the post of Defense Minister.

"There were serious disagreements between Gallant and me regarding the management of the campaign. These disagreements were accompanied by statements and actions that contradicted both government and cabinet decisions. I have repeatedly tried to close these gaps, but they have widened. These issues even reached the public in an unacceptable way, and what's worse, it became known to our enemies that they enjoyed it and gained an advantage," he stressed.

Netanyahu also touched on the reason for the appointment of Israel Katz, Minister of Foreign Affairs, as Minister of Defense:

"In five years, Israel Katz has proven his commitment to national security as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Finance, Minister of Intelligence, and a long-time member of the Security Cabinet."

It should be noted that Netanyahu dismissed Yoav Gallant from the post of Minister of Defense and appointed Foreign Minister Israel Katz in his place.
