Trump set to ramp up sanctions against Iran

Trump plans to significantly intensify sanctions pressure on Iran and cut off its oil supply capabilities.

Axar.az reports that this information was shared by the "Wall Street Journal," citing its sources.

"Iranian oil shipments to Chinese ports could also face sanctions," the source stated.

A former White House official emphasized to the newspaper that the Trump administration would seek to isolate Iran with sanctions:

"I believe you will see a reinstatement of sanctions, and the new Trump administration will aim to further isolate Iran both diplomatically and financially."
