At the moment, the claims about the transfer of the capital from Tehran are a dream and it is unlikely to come true soon.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Ahmad Fatimi, a member of the Public Commission of the Iranian Parliament.

He mentioned that earlier there were plans regarding the selection of Simnan as the capital:

"This city is a more suitable choice for the capital".

It should be noted that a few days ago, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that the preparation of the plan to relocate the country's capital from Tehran has begun.

The President has appointed the first deputy Mohammad Reza Arif to be responsible for the preparation of the plan.
