Putin has announced truce on the 80th anniversary of Victory.

Axar.az reports that the Kremlin has provided this information.

"By the decision of the President of the Russian Federation, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces, V.V. Putin, and for humanitarian reasons, a ceasefire is declared from midnight May 7 to May 8 until midnight May 10 to May 11, in observance of the 80th anniversary of Victory. During this period, all hostilities will be halted," the statement read.

It is also worth noting that Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously declared the Easter Truce.
