Israel's former defense minister Yoav Gallant plans to visit Washington next week for a series of business meetings with representatives from the White House and the State Department.

Axar.az informs that this information was reported by the "Ynet" website.

According to the publication, this will be Gallant's first foreign trip since the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants against him and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Experts believe Gallant's visit to the U.S. is related to this issue, as he fears he could be arrested. According to some sources, he plans to convince U.S. authorities to exert pressure on the matter.
