Azerbaijan to allocate 270m manat for international funds

Next year, 270 million manat will be allocated from the state budget to finance Azerbaijan's share in the charter capital of international investment and development funds, of which the country is a co-founder.

Axar.az reports that Finance Minister Samir Sharifov stated this during a plenary session of the National Assembly today.

According to the minister, for 2025, it is planned to allocate 754 million manat from the state budget to strengthen the country's position internationally, fulfill international obligations, and support foreign activities.

"Of this amount, 238 million manat will be used for organizing international events, and 205 million manat will go towards the maintenance and operational expenses of Azerbaijan's foreign diplomatic missions and consulates," the minister said.
