Bitcoin hits record high above 99,000 dollars

Bitcoin's value has surpassed $99,000, marking a historic record.

Axar.az reports that as of 07:17 Baku time, Bitcoin reached $99,136 on the Binance platform, later adjusting to $98,598 at 07:33.

Experts believe Bitcoin may cross the $100,000 threshold in the coming days.

The cryptocurrency's rise is attributed to factors such as the promises of newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump and the perception of Bitcoin and stablecoins as potential safe-haven assets during geopolitical crises.
