The Georgian police have completely closed the streets leading to the parliament building in Tbilisi.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by TASS.

"Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including special forces, have been stationed on both sides of the parliament building, as well as in the park behind it. Media representatives are not being allowed into the building for now," the report stated.

It is noted that the first session of Georgia's XI convocation of parliament will be held today at 12:00.

The opposition in the country called on citizens at a rally held on Saturday to gather in Tbilisi today and organize a march towards the parliament to prevent the ruling deputies from holding their first session on November 25.
