Turkiye hopes that the recent violence in southern Syria will be brought to an end by the government through dialogue as soon as possible.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesperson Öncü Keçeli in a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, commenting on the events in southern Syria.

It should be noted that the death toll from recent clashes in the southwestern Syrian city of Suwayda—between Bedouin tribes and local armed groups—has risen to 37.
