The United States has expressed its readiness to manage the Zangezur Corridor.

Axar.az reports that U.S. Ambassador to Turkiye Tom Barrack made this statement to journalists in New York.

According to the diplomat, the U.S. has proposed to take over the management of the 32-kilometer-long Zangezur Corridor for a period of 100 years.

“In this way, both sides will be able to use the corridor,” the ambassador emphasized.

Tom Barrack also noted that the main goal of this proposal is to help advance diplomatic negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
