As a result of Armenia’s military aggression against Azerbaijan, numerous individuals—including Armenian citizens Araik Arutyunyan, Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, Davit Ishkhanyan, David Babayan, Levon Mnatsakanyan, and others—are being prosecuted for crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, including the planning and waging of aggressive war, genocide, violations of the laws and customs of war, as well as terrorism, financing of terrorism, the violent seizure and retention of power, and other serious offenses.

Axar.az reports that the open trial session regarding these criminal cases continued on July 14.

During the hearing, video footage recorded by Armenians themselves was shown, displaying the torture inflicted on Nahid Hamidov and Nurlan Alizadeh at the time of their capture.

The court proceedings will resume on July 17.
