The White House has confirmed that U.S. President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, will attend the inauguration of the President-elect Donald Trump on January 20.

Axar.az reports that this was confirmed by White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates.

“The president promised that he would attend the inauguration of whomever won the election,” said Andrew Bates, senior deputy press secretary at the White House. “He and the First Lady are going to honor that promise and attend the inauguration.”
