Ali Khamenei's statement is absurd, and Tehran itself is responsible for the collapse of its ally in Syria.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Israel’s Foreign Minister, Israel Katz, while commenting on Ali Khamenei's statement regarding the fall of Assad.

He criticized Iran for attempting to open an eastern front against Israel in Jordan:

"Iran should blame itself and stop funding armed groups in Syria, Lebanon, and Gaza."

It is worth noting that on December 11, Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei referred to the rapid collapse of Bashar al-Assad's regime in Syria as a joint plan by the U.S. and Israel, adding that Syria's "neighboring country" also played a role in this issue, without naming it directly.
