Azerbaijan is rapidly continuing work on its territory regarding the opening of the Zangezur corridor, significant portion of the railway construction has already been completed. Work on the remaining part is ongoing.

Axar.az reports that Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov told reporters.

The minister said that at the same time, in accordance with the agreement reached with Iran, works on the construction of a bridge over the Araz River and the implementation of a route between the western territory of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan via Iran is ongoing.

Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized that the opening of the Zangezur Corridor depends on Armenia fully fulfillment its obligations, but no positive decision has been made on this matter yet.
