Meta Corporation, led by Mark Zuckerberg, has donated $1 million to the inauguration fund of Donald Trump, the President-elect of the United States.

Zuckerberg is trying to improve relations with Trump, who accused him of sabotaging the 2020 elections and threatened him with a lifetime prison sentence if he interferes in the 2024 elections, in his book "Saving America". This move is not different from the corporation's usual political activities, as it has previously donated funds to Trump's Foundation in 2017, as well as to Biden's Foundation in 2021, the report stated.
