There is no final agreement in the negotiations regarding the peace treaty with Armenia.

Axar.az reports that Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, told journalists.

He noted that the peace treaty draft consists of a preamble and 17 articles:

"Almost all of the text for the preamble and 15 articles has been fully agreed upon. However, there are still open questions regarding 2 articles. Work on these open questions is continuing in the recent period. Several rounds of negotiations have taken place, and text exchanges have been carried out. A fully agreed version has not yet been reached. The work is ongoing."

The minister also reminded that Armenia's constitution contains territorial claims against Azerbaijan:

"We expect decisive steps from Armenia in this regard. The arguments presented by Armenia recently do not satisfy us."
