A meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) is being held in Moscow.

Axar.az reports that the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, is participating in the event.

Before the meeting, the heads of government traditionally posed for a joint photo.

The agenda of the meeting, chaired by Russia, includes issues related to expanding mutual cooperation in trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian fields within the CIS region.
