PANTONE 17-1230 Mocha Mousse has been named as 2025 Color of the Year.

Axar.az reports that this information was shared by the Pantone Color Institute.

The light brown shade is a mix of warm, rich chocolate, coffee and cacao tones and is designed to evoke subtle elegance and sensorial richness, according to the release. It’s the first time Pantone has highlighted a brown shade for its annual distinction.

It was also noted that in 2025, cherry red, charcoal, and olive green will become important colors for the winter season, while purple hues will be significant for the spring and summer months.
