Belgium has postponed the delivery of F-16 aircraft to Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the Kingdom's Minister of Defense, Ludivine Dedonder, during her visit to Poland.

"Belgium will not be able to provide Ukraine with the first two F-16 aircraft this year, as there are no trained pilots and spare parts," the minister said.

It is worth noting that earlier this year, Belgium signed a bilateral security agreement with Ukraine, which includes the promise to deliver 30 old F-16s from the Belgian military's inventory to Ukraine by 2028. The delivery of the first two aircraft was initially planned for the end of this year.
