Turkiye's National Intelligence Organization (MIT) neutralized Yayla Kızılkaya, known by the codename "Nesrin Amed," the female "leader" of the PKK in the Jazira region, during an operation in Syria's Qamishli area.

Axar.az informs that Turkish media reported the incident.

MIT had placed Kızılkaya, who joined the PKK at the age of 14, on its target list due to her armed activities in Turkiye, Iraq, and Syria.

It is noted that Kızılkaya was responsible for overseeing the management of PKK's female cadres in Syria.
