Israel refuses to withdraw from occupied Syrian territories

In a message addressed to the new authorities of Damascus, Israel said that it does not intend to leave the occupied territories in Syria for security reasons.

Axar.az informs that the Israeli media reported on this.

"Tel Aviv has sent a message to the new government of Damascus, stressing that it will not tolerate the attempts of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham forces to enter the southern regions of Syria," the report said.

According to Israeli media, Tel Aviv announced that it is ready to consider the possibility of returning to the buffer zone if a "responsible party" emerges in Syria.
