Repоrts about former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad being banned from leaving Moscow and having his assets frozen are not true.

Axar.az reports that Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated this.

He also added that claims about Assad’s wife, Asma al-Assad, being dissatisfied with living conditions in Russia and wanting to leave the country are also false.

It was previously reported that Asma al-Assad intended to move to London and had allegedly filed for divorce from Bashar al-Assad to do so.
