Hungary considers Russian President Vladimir Putin an honest partner and is interested in developing relations with Russia.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

"The foreign policy of any sane country is to make friends. The new President of the United States likes Hungary. The President of the People’s Republic of China visited two EU countries—France and Hungary. The Turkish president is our friend, the Russian president is our honest partner, and the Israeli prime minister is a good friend of ours. There are few precedents in the history of Hungarian diplomacy like this," Orban said.
