Syria's new leader, Ahmed al-Sharaa, will discuss LGBT status, women's dress codes, and the consumption of alcohol with his supporters in 2025.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Mohammad Khalid, a representative of the political committee of the 'Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham' group.

Khalid emphasized the need to wait for elections, saying:
'Different people have different cultures. Syria has a Syrian identity, and the majority of its population is Muslim.'
