Russian military personnel prepared secret plans in 2013-2014 that included war scenarios with Japan and South Korea.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by Financial Times.

Based on documents leaked to the publication by Western sources, the list includes 160 targets:

"Half of these objects were military infrastructures: command centers of the Japanese and South Korean Armed Forces, radar systems, airbases, and naval military facilities.

In addition, the list also included civilian and energy infrastructure, including factories, bridges, and even nuclear power plants. The documents analyzed attack plans using X-101 missiles."

According to the newspaper, although these plans were intended for preparation for potential attacks between 2008 and 2014, they are still considered relevant in Russia's military strategy.

"Russian military officials are concerned that the eastern borders of the country would be vulnerable during a war with NATO, leaving them open to attacks by the U.S. and its allies," the newspaper states.
