25 protest participants deported amid Tbilisi unrest

The Georgian Migration Department deported 25 foreigners who participated in anti-government protests in the capital, Tbilisi, during November-December 2024.

Axar.az reports that this information was released by Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

It was noted that as part of the deportation process, some of the deported foreigners left Georgia voluntarily, while others were forcibly removed.

In total, 430 foreigners were deported from Georgia in 2024.
